Now one of the great things about restaurants on the main track is that they may well not speak English or have English menu versions but they helpfully have plastic models of each dish in the window. Plastic sashimi, plastic tempura and in those few restaurants that do cater for a more western taste plastic chips. I was anticipating dragging the waitress outside to show her my meal of choice but they also have menus that are photos of the course so when ordered the worst that can happen is that you order a Super Dry beer and point to your meal on the menu. OK, not necessarily the most off the beaten track choice of lunch but we have only just arrived and are a little clueless.
