There are tuna the sized of St Bernards being auctioned, two people have to use 4 hooks on sticks to get hold of the thing once bought and drag it up onto a wooden trolley to be wheeled out to the main market stalls where it’s chopped up. I say “chopped up” but the art of sectioning a tuna to ensure there is no waste is extremely skilled and fascinating. There was also hundreds of other fish and shell fish on the market few that I recognised, some alive some dead.
