The food was amazing, very un-Japanese but we expected this. Tomato consomme, shrimp cocktail with avocado and sweetcorn sorbet, goats cheese with figs and walnuts, sea bream, belly pork, passion fruit and banana mousse, rice pudding and cherry soup. Ian had similar but had duck instead of goats cheese and a different fish dish instead of the bream. £40ish per head for food and nearly the same again for wine by the glass!! No wonder Gordon Ramsey is so bloody well off, I am going to write to him to tell him that next time I pay £10 for a glass of fizz I expect a full glass. Joking aside it was a really brilliant experience.
